Dr. Christine Fabregas-Arnau

Dr. Christine Fabregas-Arnau was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Her first experiences with the love of animals came as a child. She cared for puppies, fed the neighborhood squirrels, played with hamsters and rolled around in the grass with the neighbor’s friendly cat. Animals were always a part of her life.

She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics Applied Science. Upon graduation, she shifted gears into her passion of veterinary medicine, working as a veterinary technician prior to vet school. This involvement led down her path of obtaining her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. She completed her clinical year at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. After graduation, she continued on to a rigorous one year rotating internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Northern California.

Outside of helping to save animal lives, Dr. Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband Lanzio (who was her high school prom date) and children Sebastian and Juliana. She also loves to play with their two dogs, Cece and Grace, cockatiel Baki, and tortoise Rafael.  They love to be adventurous and outdoors. You can find them volunteering & serving the senior community at her family’s board and care facilities. You can catch them having fun at the movie theaters, camping, playing in the snow, swimming and learning to surf.

Dr. Noosha Kohan

Dr. Noosha Kohandarvish was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended Taft high school. She then went on to receive her undergraduate degree in psychology from UCLA.

After years of pet sitting, rescuing all types of animals and working at a veterinary practice, Dr. Kohan decided to finally pursue her true passion and become a veterinarian, incorporating her psychology background to advance the human-animal bond. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from UC Davis, one of the top veterinary programs in the country. After graduation she provided general, emergency & surgical care at a busy multi-doctor practice in Hollywood. Her interests include behavior and dermatology.

In her free time, she loves making art, doing yoga and spending time with her husband, daughters & dog Athena.

Dr. Ashley Katich

Dr. Ashley Katich was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was an inquisitive child who loved animals and knew she wanted to become a veterinarian at a young age. Her local small animal vet and mentor was always encouraging of her interest and she started shadowing her as soon as she was old enough.

In her senior year of high school at Cor Jesu Academy, she applied for the AgScholar program at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She was accepted and gained another mentor and more experience in large animal medicine, including working at the University Dairy Farm, while pursuing a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. She graduated from the University of Missouri Veterinary School and went on to complete a Rural Animal Health Internship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. After her internship, she decided to return to small animal practice in St. Louis.

For the last several years she has been working in busy small animal preventative care practices, first in Missouri, and then in California. She is especially interested in internal medicine, but has experience with a wide variety of cases including dermatology & ophthalmology.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys baking and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and traveling with her husband and their two dogs, Pumba and Hugo. 

Dr. Adriana Razo

​Dr. Adriana Razo was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Her love for animals and veterinary medicine started as a child and later flourished as she began volunteering in animal shelters as a teen.

She attended North Hollywood High School and continued her pre-veterinary studies locally at Pierce College. She followed her dreams and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona.

After graduation Dr. Razo returned to Los Angeles to complete a 1-year internship at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center rotating amongst various services including small animal emergency & critical care, internal medicine, and surgery. She has a special interest in wellness & preventative care, internal medicine, and urgent care.

Dr. Razo has a profound love for shelter animals and has been a part of many volunteering events. During her free time, she loves hiking, boxing, and weight lifting. She is also a foodie and a thrifting enthusiast & if she’s not at work or at a cafe, you can find her at multiple thrift stores in the LA area or on the hunt for the next delicious food place.

Dr. Tiffany Hsing

Dr. Tiffany Hsing was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley just 20 minutes east of Los Angeles. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelors degree in molecular environmental biology. Dr. Hsing then took time off to work at various veterinary clinics before attending vet school at Oregon State University. There, she acclimated too well to the weather and lost her tolerance for the SoCal heat. 

Her special interests include surgery, dermatology, cardiology, and emergency medicine.

During her free time, she enjoys reading, watching shows and movies, and spending time with friends and family. She has two dogs, Kopi and Sprite. 

Dr. Kyle Chin

Dr. Kyle Chin was born and raised in St. Andrew on the island of Jamaica. His love for animals started from a young age, as one of his earliest memories is proudly stating he wanted to be a veterinarian on his 2nd-grade career day poster. He figured his purpose in life was to bring as much happiness to all the animals that have equally brought joy to him. Growing up, Dr. Chin had every kind of pet under the sun, from cats, dogs, turtles, birds, hamsters, rabbits, and even a rehomed lab rat.

Dr. Chin relocated to the U.S. to attend the illustrious Howard University in Washington, D.C where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then spent a couple of years in South Florida working as a Veterinary Assistant to gain experience before veterinary school. He finally accomplished his dream of becoming a veterinarian, obtaining his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the world-class UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Chin’s interests lie in all aspects of General Medicine so that he can treat as wide a population of pets as possible.

In his downtime, you can usually find Dr. Chin at a local bar or club, going to his favorite artists’ concerts, or lazing at home in front of a TV or concentrating on his puzzles. He still ensures to make time to FaceTime his family and friends that he made all over the country, including Benji, his Shih-Tzu Poodle, whom he left back home in Jamaica to keep his family company in his absence.

Dr. Bryan Puentes

Dr. Bryan Puentes was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area with proud Colombian roots. His journey to becoming a veterinarian began in childhood where his love for animals was shaped by both joyful moments and heartbreak. Witnessing the care and compassion provided by veterinarians during those difficult moments inspired him to dedicate his life to helping animals and their families and preserving the human-animal bond. 

A proud UC Davis Aggie, Dr. Puentes earned his Bachelor’s in Animal Science before going on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis. His veterinary interests include ophthalmology, dentistry, surgery and expanding access to veterinary care.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Puentes enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his significant other and their beloved dog, Allie. He is a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan and a passionate fútbol enthusiast. 

Dr. Julio Lopez

Dr. Julio López was born and raised in Los Angeles. As a kid he dreamed about being a veterinarian and having his own practice. One of his earliest memories helping animals includes taking care of orphaned new born kittens with the help of his mom.

He attended High School at North Hollywood High Zoo Magnet where classes were held in bungalows located in the parking lot of the LA Zoo. While in High School he was part of the Student CITES project and was awarded a scholarship to assist researchers studying black sea turtles in Baja California.

He received his Biology degree from UCLA and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. Dr. López returned to Los Angeles to complete a one-year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at California Animal Hospital Veterinary Specialty Group, followed by a three-year residency in Internal Medicine. He successfully completed the rigorous testing and publishing requirements set by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine to become a Board-Certified Specialist.

Dr. López has experience in all aspects of internal medicine with a special interest in diseases of the kidney and bladder, as well as endocrine diseases such as diabetes, Addison’s, Cushing’s and hyperthyroidism.  He also has extensive training in ultrasound and the diagnosis and management of heart disease. 

Dr. López has lectured both nationally and internationally and has authored chapters for The Clinical Veterinary Advisor textbook & The Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Outside of veterinary life he enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling anywhere there is a beach, and keeping up with the Dodgers, Lakers, & 49ers. If he wasn't a veterinarian he would be a conservation biologist working all over the world protecting endangered species.
